Outlook for Brazilian Exports

While the Brazilian economy is more diverse than other commodity-based economies in the region, industrial and primary-stage goods are an important part of the nation’s exports, particularly to China – Brazil’s main export destination by far.  China’s weakening outlook, coupled with falling commodity prices, dwindling global growth, and disappointing Brazilian GDP, have left many analysts with a pessimistic view for the near-term.
