Especially in a world of quantitative easing, more and more investors are looking for reliable places to maintain and possibly grow their wealth, with many turning to the real estate market.

In this context, ECRI has completed an in-depth study on international home prices, including an analysis of affordability and volatility in the world’s major economies and selected cities from a cyclical viewpoint. This study outlines how international home prices are cyclically linked and also various home price cycle outlooks suggested by our international leading home price indexes, which anticipate cyclical turning points in real home prices.
