A gauge of U.S. economic growth rose in the latest week...

The Economic Cycle Research Institute, an independent forecasting group, said its weekly leading index edged up to 137.4 in the week
ended Feb. 17 from a revised 136.8 in the prior week.

The annualized growth rate of the index fell to 4.1 percent in the latest week, compared with a revised 4.6 percent in the prior week.

The index was initially pegged at 136.9 and its growth rate was 4.7 percent in the previous week.

"Although the weekly leading index's growth rate has slipped for two weeks, U.S. growth prospects remain fairly positive," said Anirvan
