Weekly Leading Index Eases

A gauge of future U.S. economic growth eased in the latest week, a research group said on Friday.

The Economic Cycle Research Institute, an independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index inched down to 140.3 in the week to March 30 from a revised 140.5 in the prior week.

Its annualized growth rate also eased to 3.9 percent from the previous week's revised 4.0 percent.
