U.S. FIG Rises Again


ECRI’s U.S. Future Inflation Gauge (USFIG) continues to climb. The value of the USFIG lies in its ability to measure underlying inflationary pressures and thereby predict turning points in the U.S. inflation cycle.

The USFIG moved up in November to a 102-month high. Thus, underlying inflation pressures are still mounting.
