ECRI WLI Growth Falls Further
A measure of future U.S. economic growth ticked higher last week but the annualized growth rate slid to its lowest since late last year, a research group said on Friday.
The Economic Cycle Research Institute, a New York-based independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index edged up to 130.3 in the week ended July 5 from 130.2 the previous week. That was originally reported as 130.4.
The index's annualized growth rate fell to 4.6 percent from 5.2 percent, the lowest level since the end of December 2012.
