A measure of future U.S. economic growth was little changed in the latest week, while the annualized growth rate improved modestly to its highest level in nearly six months, a research group said on Friday.
The Economic Cycle Research Institute, a New York-based independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index edged down to 123.5 in the week ended Feb 10 from an upwardly revised 123.6 the previous week. That was originally reported as 123.3.
The index's annualized growth rate rose slightly to minus 3.7 percent from minus 3.9 percent. It was the highest level since late August.
