Pessimistic U.S. Nonfinancial Services Outlook - 18-Mar-08
The U.S. nonfinancial services sector outlook has darkened materially, according to ECRI's Leading Nonfinancial Services Index (LNFSI). The value of ECRI's LNFSI lies in its ability to anticipate cyclical turning points in nonfinancial services activity.
Growth in nonfinancial services has slowed sharply, following the earlier downswing in LNFSI growth, which fell to a six-year low in its latest reading. (shaded areas are nonfinancial services growth rate cycle downturns)

Eurozone Outlook Gloomier Than Consensus - 01-Sep-07
For well over a year, following an upturn in Eurozone growth, the consensus has been convinced that Eurozone growth would remain strong, even as U.S. growth faltered. It is only recently that some have begun to acknowledge what ECRI’s European leading indexes have been telegraphing for some time now – that Eurozone growth is not all that good.
